Hi all,

A quick update before I "hit the hay" - it's gone 1:30am again. Since my
last letter, a few developments have taken place. The first one, as
always, is the trigger to these updates, the location of others with the
"Machiela" surname. In this case, two, although one of them is spelled
slightly differently. Please welcome Amy Machiela (Keith's Daughter) and
Paul Machiele (from Michigan) to this list - it's a pleasure having you.

I'd love to hear from you both - just reply to this message if you
like...

I've also been exchanging a number of message with Ans, who appears to
be in a perfect position to do research into the Dutch connection -
among other things, she's been talking to her father, who has promised
to write down as many details as possible for her.

My father is coming to visit me next week, I'm expecting him to bring a
bottle of bootleg whiskey (to help us through a night talking about all
this stuff...) should be a good one... if you get any strange message
around then, remember, it's the liquor talking, not me (disclaimer)...
;-)
